Livelihoods and Food Security Technical Specialist

***This position will be located either at our international headquarters in northern Seattle, Washington or in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. metro area. The location will be negotiated with the successful candidate. We encourage applications for either location.***

The Livelihoods and Food Security Technical Specialist will secure grant funding for relief and development projects in the areas of livelihoods and food security by developing and writing grant proposals and managing larger grant funded programs. This position will develop grant acquisition, program planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting to ensure that livelihoods and food security programs are technically excellent, improve the lives of beneficiaries and at a deeper level transform their values, beliefs and practices. The Livelihoods and Food Security Technical Specialist will develop and maintain relationships with the professional communities, networks and technical donors within this sector to ensure the continued viability and success of World Concern’s programs.
