Wheaton College (IL) is accepting applications for the Director of Web Communications in the Marketing Communications Department. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, the Director of Web Communications provides leadership and vision for
the team that manages the public content, organization, and structure of the College’s web site and social media. The primary purpose of the Director of Web Communications is to ensure that Wheaton’s external web presence and social media efforts reflect and
further the mission of the College. A qualified candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree, and 5-7 years of web project experience. Strong project management skills with the ability to direct a diverse, creative and technical team is essential to this position.
Working knowledge of Web markup and coding languages, including HTML and CSS is a plus. Experience in database design and CMS implementation is preferred.
