AND FICKLENESS FOUND IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY. IT IS OUR DESIRE TO SEE THE STORIES WE TELL MOVE PEOPLE TO ACTION AND INSPIRE A DEEP CHANGE WITHIN THEM.
The primary purpose for this position within LOVE NAIL TREE is to fulfill the most pressing day-to-day operational aspects. Clearly implied through the title of "Warehouse Manager/Customer Correspondent" is that this position has two parts:
- Warehouse Manager - The primary duties of the "Warehouse Manager" will be to receive order forms, piece together orders, pack them together, and then ship them to their destination. Receiving order forms will happen in at least one of two ways:
- Wholesale Orders - the Warehouse Manager (WM) will receive orders (typically typed up with all shipping instructions included) from the Office Manager. These orders will usually be at least
18 pieces (unless told otherwise). Once packed together the WM will weigh the package(s) and enter all pertinent details into FedEx/UPS/USPS' online service in order to obtain a shipping label.
- Online Orders - the WM will be notified of received orders online through LOVE NAIL TREE's PayPal account. This account should be checked at least once a day. These orders will typically range from
1 to 5 pieces, depending on how much the buyer loves us ;) , and will be packed, weighed, and entered into PayPal's online shipping service in order to obtain a USPS shipping label.
? The WM will manage all inventory. This can look like creating an organized system or document/spreadsheet, but as much as possible, the WM should know exactly what is in stock (both in garments and jewelry).
? The WM will keep a clean warehouse.
? The WM will see to the packing of all shirt boxes for events.
- Customer Correspondent - The primary duty of the "Customer Correspondent" (CC) will be to address all things related to consumer customer inquiries. This will require:
? answering phone calls
? responding to emails
? responding to customer comments/concerns that are submitted through social media (i.e. twitter, Facebook, instagram)
? handling any disputes regarding shipping
? creating and maintaining a "returns system"
In addition to the above, there will always be the need for the WM/CC to assist Tyler or Aaron with other projects related to LOVE NAIL TREE. This may include going to an event to set up and sell as a vendor, helping Tyler build an event display, running
errands (i.e. to the post office, home depot, to pick up jewelry or t-shirts), etc. These will occur with moderate frequency, but they will not be duties that the WM/CC will be expected to know to do.
