Logistics Sales Representative
Mid-West Region

Job Description
As a Representative for DHT Logistics you would be responsible for cultivating new business through your existing customer book of business, as well as growing established accounts and by generating new business opportunities. 


You will have daily interaction with customers and carriers, building relationships and developing logistics solutions that meet customer's specific business requirements and that are aligned with DHTL’s strategy for growth.


Develop a subsequent strategy for continual growth and development of accounts.


Results will be measured through various KPI’s such as increased revenue and profitability.


Motivated individuals will have an excellent opportunity for advancement

Successful candidates possess the following experience and knowledge:


A proven and verifiable track record of 5-10 years of strong negotiation, selling and closing skills  

In Logistics Services

-       Book of business/Customer Following is a must

-       Strong experience and knowledge of rate analysis and negotiation abilities

-       Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications

-       Strong ability to multi-task and adjust priorities to meet customer demands

-       Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills

-       Continual customer-driven communication and follow-up

-       Strong desire to energetically pursue new business opportunities and cultivate customer relationships.
