Salem Media Hawaii is looking for a Full Time Traffic & Sales Assistant. We are looking for a professional, detail oriented individual who can multi-task and has exceptional organization and computer skills. The position will act as support to the Traffic and
Business Department and as a liaison between Sales Department and clients when appropriate, as well as provide coverage for our Administrative Assistant/Front Desk. The ideal candidate will have computer, people, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Prepare Daily Program Logs and make sure all Copy is entered for the next day’s broadcast.
Enter contracts into Wide Orbit, print contract confirmations every day.
Generate Sales Reports/Sales Analyzer Reports.
Maintain account lists, client database and sales contract books and media kits.
Complete affidavits for all SRN programming and Network programming.
Perform general administrative duties including filing, faxing and copying and provide phone coverage for station as needed.
Other duties as requested.
Skills and Requirements:
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint is a plus.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times.
Ability to speak with customers and promote our products to potential buyers.
Prior Office experience preferred.
HS Diploma required.
The work schedule will be Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Hourly Rate: $10.00 per hour
