Communication Institute

Communication Institute (CI) is the administrative office that serves the European Leadership Forum (Forum) and all of its initiatives.  The Forum exists to unite, mentor and resource Europe’s evangelical leaders.  This happens first at the Forum’s annual, May meeting in Wisla, Poland.  This year’s Forum was attended by nearly 670 individuals from over 40 countries. As a result of it, more than 350 local, national, and regional strategies, events, and partnerships will occur across the European continent over the course of the next year.  To learn more about the Forum, visit www.euroleadership.org.


Overall Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant will provide support to the Director by helping him manage his:


  • Schedule (e.g. setting up meetings, assembling meeting materials)
  • Correspondence (e.g. taking dictation, writing Forum partners on his behalf)
  • Travel plans (e.g. booking flights, hotels, etc.)
  • Presentations (e.g. creating PowerPoints, composing handouts)
  • Writing/research projects (e.g. compiling data, editing)


Other tasks and projects will be assigned at the discretion of the Director. 




Applicants must possess an undergraduate degree in any field and be:


  • Accomplished in verbal and written communication
  • Highly organized and attentive to detail
  • Adept at multi-tasking
  • Flexible/adaptable
  • Team-oriented
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint


Prior administrative/office experience is necessary. 


Prior experience as an administrative assistant (especially at the executive level) is strongly preferred.


An educational background and/or a strong interest in history, theology, and/or sociology will be considered an asset in light of the research duties associated with this position.


Terms and Compensation

CI is willing to consider both full and part-time applicants for this role—though full-time is strongly preferred.  Starting compensation will be based on skill level and experience. 



All CI employees travel to Wisla, Poland (at CI’s expense) each May to administrate the Forum. 


Following the Forum, all employees are given a week of paid vacation during which they are encouraged to tour Europe (though at their own expense).  In addition, all full-time employees start out with two additional weeks of paid vacation, along with nine paid holidays.  


CI offers health benefits to full-time employees in the form of Flexible Spending Accounts and (beginning the second year of employment) Health Reimbursement Accounts.
