GAP Ministries currently is licensed to serve up to 85 children in ten SPLASH Houses located on the northwest side of Tucson. The children at the SPLASH Houses have been removed from their homes and placed in our care by Child Protective Services.

These homes are staffed with full-time house parents who have a desire to share God’s unconditional love with the children in our care.

We are extremely blessed with incredible people that have stepped into a hard place to serve children within our community. The positive changes that these children experience have been noticed by caseworkers, judges and therapists alike. The establishment of an appropriate and healthy family model serves in restoring the value of family and appropriate interaction between family members. The unconditional love that is given by each parent and staff member is vital to the healing process that each child walks through.

GAP Ministries is seeking married couples who have a heart for children and are called to the ministry of caring for young people to apply as house parents.

GAP Ministries is one of the largest non-profit, residential children's homes in Arizona. Our mission is to help young people become capable, caring, Christian adults by sharing Christ’s love for them and providing them a home and a hope for the future.

GAP Ministries is located in NW Tucson and we currently have 10 homes that provide loving care 24 hours a day for children who have been abused or neglected. We provide a safe place for children to grow physically, spiritually, and academically and learn to honor God. We take children from 0-18 years of age who are placed with us through Child Protective Services.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience working with children and a heart to serve. HS Diploma or GED, at least 21 years of age, valid driver’s license, good driving record, and pass a background check. Up to two children living at home. No homeschooling or pets allowed. We have an excellent salary package that includes health benefits for full-time staff, a 403(b) investment program and living expenses for some positions.
